OM in Poland is part of Operation Mobilisation - an international organization engaged in humanitarian work, community support, and global mission initiatives. OM runs self‑help groups, medical outreaches, art and sports projects, and programs in education and micro‑entrepreneurship. The team in Poland supports people with refugee experience and those at risk of marginalization, helping them build stability, dignity, and new opportunities.
Main Goal
The main goal of the film is to present the Psalm Counselling Centre as a vital, compassionate space where people from multicultural backgrounds with migrant/refugee experience can receive free emotional and psychological support in their language. The video aims to show partners and sponsors how their involvement directly strengthens a centre that offers hope, healing, and practical tools for building healthy relationships, emotional resilience, and a hopeful future - all grounded in Christian values of love, dignity, and care, and open to everyone regardless of belief or background.
Behind the Process
The counselling center itself is rather small and relatively dark, so we intentionally expanded the visual framework by filming outside the space to create more variety and depth in the background.
We replaced all ceiling lights with professional film lighting to achieve a clean, natural look that matched the tone of the story.
Although we filmed late into the night, we wanted the scenes to feel like daytime, so we used strong exterior lights to simulate daylight coming through the windows.
Our goal was to show real stories of transformation, which is why the narrative structure presents the struggle first and the impact of the counselling centre at the end.
Featuring people speaking different languages emphasized the multicultural and inclusive nature of the centre - a place where anyone, regardless of background, can feel seen, understood, and supported.
